France continues to support Ukraine and Kharkiv during the fight against the Russian invasion.

This was stated by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Ukraine Gael Vesierre in Kharkiv on July 14.

Within the framework of the visit of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Ukraine Gael Vesier and in honor of the Bastille Day a festive concert was organized in Kharkiv the day before.
The mayor Igor Terekhov took part in the event. He thanked Gael Vesier for the decision to celebrate the French national holiday in Kharkiv.
“Our city today is a struggle for democracy of the whole world. I am convinced that we will always be a united European community, because we have a lot in common. We are grateful to the people of France for the support that you give to Ukraine”, - emphasized the mayor.
In turn, Gael Vesier noted that the idea of organizing such a concert appeared during a meeting with Igor Terekhov back in February this year.
“It is important for us to be on this day, when we celebrate the anniversary of the capture of the Bastille, in the Ukrainian citadel - indestructible and unconquered Kharkiv. And the resistance and courage of the Ukrainians are deservedly admired. All French people are convinced that it is necessary to continue to help Ukraine, despite all political uncertainties. This is the basis of our future work”, - emphasized Gael Vesier.
